Hi Tony, I'm finding it hard to sum up the last 39 years that Martha and I were friends and sisters in law. Mostly wetting ourselves at other people's expense, sorry, we were fashion students darling! Martha's sense of humour and well, ballsy sense of f**k you got us everywhere. Mainly into the fashion shows in Paris without any tickets and the pages of Details magazine, shot by the famous Bill Cummingham. Then there was Knebworth Oasis, Martha, long dress, no knickers," well easy to have a wee standing up innit?!" She did too. Everything was done with a fag and large glass of something in her hand (she taught me how to sew like that) to PIL or Oasis. Martha's favourite designers were John Galliano and Karl Lagerfeld, who sum it up, "Luxury bags make your life more pleasant, make you dream, give you confidence, and show your neighbours you're doing well"!
