Martha ….My Friend this is not the end but a beginning of a new path / journey for you.

My memories of you far too many for me to write, it would be a novel, a best seller, the title” Martha what Colour is it today luv”

 
Beautiful, Unique, strong as a Lioness, courageous never afraid to speak her mind. Often described as an Egg hard on the outside but if you managed to crack the shell you will have a friend for life.  Martha was that for me.  always there in my troubled times and believe me I have had a few. also Making time for my daughter, always being positive even in this last year.  

I have so many fun times with Martha, nights out boogie woogies, meals with “The boys “. Parties and her Wedding to Tony. Martha prior to making numerous phone calls to ensure her dress got there and not damaged.
Time spent with her was never dull. Her beautiful clothes, unique Jewellery designs, piercings just a few. Her numerous designer glasses but for me it will always be her hair… what colour, style would it be today and teddy bears

At the start of our shift, it would be first things first Coffee most important now let’s get on with it!! Working with her as my supervisor never a dull moment, Martha, always had mine n Moxy’s backs. Some great but serious times, deploying to incidents…. But never a dull moment!

One incident that comes to mind especially this time of year

A night shift, on a cold and frosty night reports of Santa and his Reindeer broken down. No way was I deploying to this. Martha in true style shouts, just get on with it, probably a pile of old Shite anyway. No, Sure enough there he was Santa Claus suited and booted with his reindeer and a vehicle towing a trailer with the sledge on the back!! Broken down.
With times like these spent together and all the great memories we made over the years. Martha will never be forgotten. Always and forever sleep well my friend …
