I first met Martha many years ago when my organisation shared a control room with hers.

This vibrant lady with gorgeous red hair initially scared the life out if me but as time went on Martha began to show her softer side.  Although I do believe that if there was a swearing jar not only would myself and Martha be broke our colleagues would be fairly well off 😀

After a couple of years Martha defected and joined my organisation and although we worked supervising different teams I would often see her on handover.

Martha told it how it is, she didn't beat around the bush, she worked very hard and she wore the most beautiful clothes and had a great dress sense. On one occasion I recal commenting on a jacket she was wearing to work, she replied “What this old thing?, Ive had it years”  That was her lovely sense of glam and style.

Beautiful on the outside and as soft as butter on the inside, fly amongst the stars my friend, you will be missed xx
